What to Wear: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that easily exposes the tattoo site (e.g., shorts for a calf/thigh placement, or a tank top for arms). Expect that ink may get on your clothes, so wear something dark or old.

What to Avoid: Please do not consume alcohol, heavy caffeine, or blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or ibuprofen) 24 hours prior to your session.

Bring ID: You must bring a valid, government-issued photo ID showing you are 18+ to your appointment.

The First 24 Hours: Leave your protective film (Saniderm) on as instructed. It is normal for fluid to accumulate underneath—this is a natural part of the healing process.

Removal & Cleaning: Wash your hands thoroughly, then gently peel off the bandage under warm, running water. Wash the tattoo gently using your fingertips and a mild, fragrance-free antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

Moisturizing: Apply a very thin layer of your provided premium aftercare ointment or a fragrance-free lotion (like Lubriderm or Cetaphil). Never smother the tattoo; it needs to breathe. Repeat 2–3 times a day.

What to Avoid: Do not submerge the tattoo in water (no baths, pools, hot tubs, or swimming) for at least 2–3 weeks. Avoid direct, prolonged sunlight, and absolutely do not pick or scratch at any peeling skin.
